Parenting is hard. Especially when we find ourselves struggling with our own childhood barriers. This course has been created to address the toxic behaviors and patterns that often occur when parenting from a place of toxic and/or traumatic stress. During this course we learn how to heal and grow through toxic parenting to become parents who heal and grow with our babies. We are our parents children but we do not have to repeat our parents choices. We got this!

Founder and Clinical Director of “A&A Inspirations” and Executive Director of “KHAOS Inc”, Candice graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She is a phenomenal author of adolescent therapeutic references, motivational speaker, trainer and developer of various programming such as, “Organized Khaos”.

Since 2004, Candice has provided licensed counseling and consulting services to children and families. While providing group interactions of mental health within a local facility, she was able to see first hand the distinct need for additional resources and assistance that she was unable to provide under the umbrella of Corporate Mental Health.Growing up with undiagnosed ADD, abandoned by her father, and with a mother who lived with post-traumatic stress disorder, she developed the motto to live a life of KHAOS (Keep Healing and Overcoming Struggles).

In 2008 Candice graduated with her Master of Science in Social Work from Saint Louis University. Candice is very passionate about meeting individuals where they are to assist them with getting to where they want to be in life; for this reason in 2012 she started her private practice, A&A Inspirations.

In 2014, Candice started implementing her Organized KHAOS program in schools and community centers to address the lack of social and emotional coping skills; taught both in the home and educational environments. Candice utilizes innovative and experimental treatment modalities to change the focus of being “labeled” to “living beyond labels.”

In 2016 her first therapeutic children’s book was published, titled “ Please Oh Please,” focusing on coping and skill building with ADHD. This book derives from a series, which encompasses various mental health diagnoses and also emphasizes on the P.A.T.I.E.N.T skill (Pause And Think Inhale Exhale Now Talk). Candice works daily to be a catalyst in the lives of others to propel them forward while creating programs that introduce and implement social, communication, and positive resolution techniques.
