Jamanda has provided individual, family and group counseling while completing her internship through A&A Inspirations. Jamanda has worked with children, adolescents and adults to help them explore a new, and healthier way of life. During Jamanda’s time working in the mental health industry she has facilitated youth groups, taught the KHAOS mindset curriculum throughout elementary, middle and high schools within the St. Louis public school system, helped create and organize weekly self help groups for adults, and collaborated with non-profit organizations to assemble summer camp programs for inner city children. Jamanda has worked with clients that have severe mental health diagnosis such as: generalized anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, ODD, generational and environmental trauma, clients with self-esteem issues, clients who have experienced suicidal ideations, self-harmers, and clients in unhealthy relationships.
Jamanda has a passion to help people discover their inner strength to fight for a healthier life. Jamanda’s personal philosophy is that life is not always sunshine and rainbows sometimes we have cloudy, rainy days, but soon enough the sun will shine again… with practice, patience, and healing we can always look for the sun to shine on us at the end of the storm. Jamanda uses Solution-Focused Brief Therapy mostly, with some mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist clients through their healing.
